Witches’ Ascent

Witches are complex figures. History often casts these distinctly feminine characters as wicked, consorting with the devil himself. But from another perspective, they are misunderstood outcasts—women who refused, or perhaps were unable, to fit the roles a patriarchal society demanded of them. That defiance brought persecution. Yet it is their feminine intuition, deeply connected to the rhythms of the natural world, that allows them to harness its power and commune with it to serve their own will.
