Samhain Bonfire

Linocut print of ancient druids summoning ghosts from a bonfire at Stonehenge

Samhain Bonfire

Samhain (pronounced sah-win) was a Pagan harvest festival and precursor to modern-day Halloween. Those who celebrated believed that on this day the spirits of the dead would return to the land of the living. It was a time to reconnect with lost loved ones, but also beware the vengeful spirits of their enemies.
