Solar Octopus

The inspiration for this print came while I was working my way through the Godzilla movies, starting with the Japanese original in 1954. There is something awe-inspiring about seeing this ancient creature towering above a modern city. With the Solar Octopus, I wanted to imagine a creature whose scale is incomprehensible, something that represents forces entirely beyond the scope of human control. This print is part of a series along with Vulcan Moth.
